Oslo city or airport hotel

For your overnight stay in Oslo, you have the choice as to whether you stay in the city centre of Oslo or at Oslo Gardermoen Airport. At the time of booking, our Travel Experts will provide you with the available options, depending on your preference and current availability.

Should you be arriving on an afternoon flight, you will have the remainder of the day to enjoy the city and its numerous delights. A preferred option for many people is to check into their airport hotel and drop off their baggage before catching the train or bus into the city centre for dinner and some exploration. We would strongly recommend this option for those of you who have an early morning flight the next day.

If you prefer to stay in a hotel in the city centre, you can make your way there using the very efficient public transport system.

We would strongly advise giving yourself plenty of time to get to the airport the following day in order to meet your flight. Taxis can be arranged through your hotel or you can make use of public transport (we would suggest talking to hotel staff on how best this can be done and they will be able to advise you accordingly).

Though you are only here for a short time, Oslo has much to offer visitors with its unique architecture and numerous museums, art galleries and restaurants. It is a delightful city and in our opinion some of the restaurants alone are well worth the trip!
