Matt is an acclaimed astrophotographer and science communicator from Sunderland,UK.

He currently lives and works in Sweden but his astronomy work has allowed him to work around the world to countries like Chile, Maldives, Finland, Iceland and Norway. Matt has been part of the team and taken breath-taking images and created content for the Aurora Zone for over 5 years. His cheerful, down to earth, and entertaining presenting style creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere to learn more about astronomy and have those burning questions answered.

Matt absolutely adores astronomy and has seen the aurora over 100 times. He has spent numerous winters living within the Arctic Circle and is a fantastic person to company you on a trip into the aurora zone.
