After arriving at Tromsø, your driver will meet you with a sign before being privately transferred to Clarion the Edge Hotel. Known as the ‘Paris of the North’ this city is a great starting point to any holiday. Guests can easily access shopping at Nerstrand and Jekta malls. Nearby attractions include Polaria Aquarium, the Polar Museum (Polarmuseet), the Arctic Cathedral (Ishavskatedralen), and the Fjellheisen Cable Car. The hotel itself offers a unique and comfortable stay in a fantastic location.

After a night in urban Tromsø, you will be transferred on a scheduled shuttle from Tromsø airport to Malangen resort, situated on the snow-cloaked shores of beautiful Balsfjord. The transfer will take around an hour following which you can spend the evening settling into your accommodation and exploring the resort’s amenities. After enjoying breakfast, it’s time to get adventurous with a thrilling dog sledding experience across the Arctic landscape.
After a short walk to the camp, the activity will begin with a lesson in how to control your dogs, following which you will head off in pairs (one driver, one passenger) into the snowy wilderness, with the chance to swap halfway giving everyone a chance to take the reins! Conclude your sledding experience with a light snack by an open fire. The activity will total approximately 2.5 hours, with 1.5 hours of dog sledding.
After dinner the adventure continues this evening with a snowshoe walk starting straight from the hotel. Let your headtorches guide the way deep into the wilderness where you will have the opportunity to take pictures of the Aurora Borealis, should there be a display tonight. Your guide will give you information about the Northern Lights and their fascinating history and assist with camera settings to help you capture a potential display. You will stop along the way to enjoy a hot drink and a snack around the fire. In total, this activity lasts around 4 hours.

Experience the ultimate Arctic adventure with a snowmobile ride through the breathtaking Landscapes of Malangen.
After breakfast, you will be transferred around an hour and a half to the start point. Following instructions, you will set off across the snow-covered tracks, traversing on paths through forests and enjoying the views of the pristine wilderness.
You’ll drive in pairs, giving everyone the chance to take the reins of the snowmobile (please note you must be over 18 and have a valid driving licence to drive a snowmobile). This activity lasts for around five and a half hours, and we expect you to drive the snowmobile for around 2 hours

After a relaxed morning, your time at Malangen has come to an end and its time to head back to where it all began, in Tromsø. The shuttle bus transfer will take around an hour and a half. After settling in at The Edge Hotel, it’s time to embark on your final activity, a majestic dinner cruise along the Tromsø Fjords. As you traverse in the silent night (made extra peaceful by the boats electrical engine) your captain will keep an eye out for dancing lights above as you enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner aboard this floating restaurant.

Today it is sadly time to head home. You will be transferred from the city centre via shuttle bus (leaves from Prostneset – only a 1,5-minute walk from your hotel. The drive itself takes about 15 minutes to the airport, your ticket is open, giving you the flexibility to board at any time. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey home!
