I love the idea that the hotel is designed and built from nothing in just a few short weeks and it's unique each time. The vision that each artist has in order to come up with a new theme and concept, literally from nothing, fascinates me.
When the ICEHOTEL® initially announced its plans for a year-round ICEHOTEL® I, like many others in the office, was initially quite confused and then a little sceptical. The ICEHOTEL® really epitomises a winter adventure, so I wondered how this would translate during the summer months which are renowned for their long daylight hours (24 hours for much of the summer)!
When I was invited to come and try out one of their rooms during June I jumped at the chance. I was lucky enough to stay in one of their brand new Deluxe Suites in ICEHOTEL 365® and I have to say, I think it has spoilt me for staying in any other Ice or Snow Hotels in the future. It was awesome!

Having the warm bathroom just a few steps away from your suite is a real luxury. The superb facilities including a huge walk-in shower, sauna and stylish free-standing bath (facilities do vary depending on which suite you book) meant that during the evening, after a delicious meal in the restaurant, I was able to relax in the sauna and soak in the bath before sleeping in my unique suite.

Being able to have all of my luggage in the warm bathroom too was very useful and meant getting up and ready was a much more relaxed affair than using the main changing rooms. If you are going all the way to the ICEHOTEL® and want to have a really memorable experience then, personally I'd recommend the extra splurge on one of the Deluxe Suites and I guarantee you will feel like you have had a real treat as well as a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
