Wonderful locations, great food, fun activities, excellent customer support.

Amazing light, just before winter night ends

A beautiful hotel, very warm, fantastic location overlooking the frozen lake. There was a good choice of food, I am vegetarian and was amply catered for. Warm suits are provided on site. There is a dedicated activities desk and all activities started from the front of the hotel. Our only concern was that the hotel did not give us the Northern Lights alarm and we weren’t aware it was part of our package. After realizing and complaining we were promptly offered compensation. We loved all the activities except the sleigh ride to aura camp and the minibus hunt for the lights. We didn’t see the lights on either of those trips but saw them when we got back to the hotel. We had a great guide on the best activities Freddy from Peru he is fantastic.

Very well organised by Aurora Zone - easy to work with and very accommodating. All went perfectly to plan. Tromos was a delight. It is a fascinating and welcoming place with an imposing and beautiful location. Our hotel was very well located to access all facilities and had a delightful outlook and relaxed atmosphere. Sommaroy was peaceful, mystical, and stunningly beautiful. Will go again! We also got to see the Aurora - which was very much what we wanted. All boxes ticked

Awesome trip in January with wonderfully chosen activities and a chance to see the northern lights and experience polar night! We added an extra night in Tromso at the beginning, which did not add too much cost and gave us time to experience both the night cruise and the husky sleigh ride, while enjoying Tromso and a comfortable hotel with great breakfast included. The Vasa reindeer ranch (Finland ) was the most beautiful place I've ever seen, with a wonderful hostess, delicious food, and cozy cabins. We were a little too cold in the IceHotel (it was unusually cold that night), but it was still an incredible experience that we don't regret. In Kiruna, we added a traditional spa visit at a nearby hotel - well worth it! After departing Kiruna and saying farewell to the "tour" portion of our trip, we took an overnight sleeper train from Kiruna to Stockholm and flew home from Stockholm. That added another beautiful and special leg to the experience, without a lot of added cost.

Well organised from start to finish. Accommodation was comfy and warm. Loved the view of the sky, very romantic. Everywhere was clean and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed all the activities and the guides were very experienced. Overall it felt very special and we were lucky to see a magnificent Northern lights display. Perfect short break for couples.

Everything was as described. Activities were excellent with clear instructions & H & S guidelines. Food was varied, plentiful & good. Accommodation was clean & comfortable. Staff were always cheerful & helpful.

Great location comfortable chalets and food catered well for vegetarians. The activities were well organised and fun.

The 10km husky safari was tops, the guide was great and the dogs were amazing & happy. The ride through the forest was magical. It was cold -30 but the sun was out and it was crystal clear. Then the sky view suite did not disappoint. On our last night, we watched the northern lights from our bed for 2 hours Thank you this was a bucket list trip for me and I loved every minute

Fabulous time despite many changes due to the ongoing circumstances with the volcano. The staff both local and at Aurora zone in the UK were brilliant and helpful and were able to change things at short notice to still accommodate when excursions were cancelled due to bad weather etc. I have taken two holidays now with the Aurora zone and they have both been brilliant.

The accommodation was fine for the few nights we were there, for longer stays a larger room would be better. Choose your trips carefully though, the trip to the ski station for supper was not such good value. Dog sledding was amazing.

Well organised, just a couple of minor glitches. We were given the wrong time for one restaurant booking but had gone early anyway, and it was not really clear where boat trip started from at the harbour. But all sorted. Otherwise, very good

Great holiday.Everything at Inari hotel was great. Lovely food, great staff and well organised trips. Rooms clean and very warm. Must have been the only people with the window open in January in Finland. Would recommend anyone to stay there ❤️

Even if we hadn’t seen the Northern Lights (which we did) it would have still been an amazing trip. Thank you all for your support in making this happen.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a sincere thanks. We had an absolutely superb time in Tromso; hotel and excursions were spot on. As you are probably aware it was for my wife's 50th birthday, and it was one to remember. Also, the Northern Lights made spectacular appearances, especially on the catamaran cruise. They even gave a show at 6am as we were boarding our flight home. You must have ordered them especially ?. Thanks again.

Everything was particularly memorable but the husky ride and aurora viewing were especially excellent. The service, food, and room were all brilliant. Hiking was my favourite activity. All of the staff were so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Seeing the Northern Lights was unforgettable. Everything was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and stay. Top quality resort.

There are so many aspects of this holiday that were memorable including the northern lights, the visit to the museum, the walking, the food, the hotel staff, and the people we met. The food, our room, and the service were all brilliant. Seeing the Northern Lights, visiting the Sámi Siida Museum, and walking were our favourite activities. Anna (guide), Jerome, and Joyce (restaurant) went above and beyond to make this holiday so special. The Northern Lights Travel Experts were very helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. All our pre-holiday documentation was supplied to us on time and the whole booking process was easy to navigate. I can't think of single way this holiday could be have been any better - it was fantastic!

I will never forget seeing the Northern Lights 4/5 nights we were there! Dream come true ticked off the bucket list! The service, our room, and the food were all brilliant. Our favourite activity was Northern Light hunting. Anne, our guide, was totally awesome in every aspect. Nothing was too much trouble for the Northern Lights Travel Experts. We had a dream holiday and I wouldn't change a single part of it!

Dominique our activity guide at Senja- “Pocket rocket” full of enthusiasm and knowledge Riccardo the Hotel Restaurant manager: picked us up from the airport, settled us into the room, always had a friendly word in the restaurant. Daniele; photography guide- excellent advice and appreciated his enthusiasm The waiters Martin and his colleague were friendly helpful and nothing too much trouble Amy-Lee the Huskie expedition lead- endless patience with our inadequacies! Andy Marshall- really appreciated his advice in the planning.

The most memorable part of the holiday was the silence & snow. We have been recommending friends and family to go and do something similar because we loved it so much. The hotel staff were fantastic - reception, restaurant, sauna and massage all excellent to a person.

We enjoyed husky sledding and snowshoeing at night under a full moon. We were given lots of comprehensive info.

It was a great holiday. Everyone, both at the Lodge and on the activities, was very friendly and engaging. Good variety of food (including vegetarian options) at the lodge. Katka on reception was really helpful. The Spanish snowshoeing guides were particularly helpful

It was all great - we loved driving the husky sled, snowmobiling at night to see the Northern Lights, active experiences like snowshoing and skiing -- really everything! Graham was fantastic in helping us book the trip and get all the additional activities we wanted.

Saw the Northern Lights on 3 nights !! Husky safari and Reindeer sleigh ride were great. Our favourite experience was the snowmobile because we saw the Northern Lights, but loved Husky Safari too. It was one of the best breaks we have ever had !!

Excellent service all round. We had a fantastic time. We enjoyed all the activities in the wilderness.

The most memorable part of the holiday was seeing the Northern Lights. The dog sled ride was my favourite experience. The guides were all excellent.

City of Tromsø is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed just being there with lovely people , a lovely hotel , great food and good weather too. The taxi drivers to and from the airport were excellent.

We enjoyed seeing the lights twice! Out snowmobiling in -33. The lovely hotel and staff and of course the staff from Aurora Zone. Jenni our snowshoeing guide was amazing. Just a massive thank you to Graham, Kate and Jade for all their help and patience in finally getting us to Finland.
