5 most Instagram-able places in the Arctic

Ah, how we love travel on Instagram! We look, get wanderlust and then next thing you know it’s added to your travel bucket list. With the Northern Lights and Arctic landscapes, however, it’s another ball game completely.

Here's my five most Instagram-able Arctic destinations:

Day or night, Saariselkä’s winter landscape is just idyllic. Miles of pristine white snow, plenty of thrilling experiences and Aurora glamping accommodation - we know you’ll have your Instagram followers green with envy!

‘Tiny but mighty’ is what springs to mind when we think of Torassieppi!

Situated on the banks of Lake Torasjärvi and the edge of the Pallas Ylläs National Park, Torassieppi is stunning through all the seasons.

Another highlight includes spending a night glamping on the edge of a lake in a fantastic Aurora Dome!

With almost 3000 islands and islets in the archipelago, Luleå is certainly a place you want to explore.

Head out on the ice for endless vistas where you can experience snowmobiling, husky sledding and a hovercraft ride.

Insider tip - if you're heading to Luleå, also consider the magical Treehotel!

Often referred to as the ‘final frontier’, we guarantee you’ll be the talk of the town once everyone sees your holiday snaps!

At first glance the island appears rather hostile - two-thirds of its surface is covered in glaciers, and the number of polar bears (around 3500) outnumbers the number of people but we think it makes for a very cool destination!

It wouldn’t be an Instagram round up if we didn’t include Iceland!

Miles of beauty, vast floating icebergs, fjords, glaciers and attractions like the Blue Lagoon - you can’t go wrong with this island expedition!
