Itinerary
Upon arriving at the airport, your driver will meet you and take you to Hotel Inari. Here, you will receive a warm Finnish welcome. Once you have checked in, you can settle into your Superior Room before heading to Restaurant Aurora for a delicious meal.
This evening, your holiday kicks off with a beguiling Aurora Camp. Your guide will meet you at the designated pick-up point and accompany you on this exclusive adventure to witness an Aurora display. They will lead you to a camp far from any light pollution to enhance your viewing experience. While you wait, enjoy captivating stories and gain insights about this magnificent part of the world around an open fire. Inside a traditional kota hut, your guide will prepare grilled sausages and delicious pancakes to keep you warm. Have your camera ready and ask your guide to help you find the best settings to capture the vibrant colours and undulating patterns dancing across the night sky.

We encourage you to request a table by the window in order to soak in the amazing views across Lake Inari – what a wonderful way to start the day.
Nothing compares to the excitement of navigating through snow-covered trees and across the sparkling terrain on a snowmobile. This heart-pounding adventure is a must for anyone visiting Lapland. Weather permitting, after a safety briefing and introductory lesson, you’ll follow your guide along a trail through the forest or out onto the frozen expanse of Lake Inari. Riding in pairs, you’ll have the chance to switch drivers halfway through the trip. Please note that all drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
This evening, you’ll venture out with your guide on snowshoes – the ideal gear for trekking through the snowy wilderness. Snowshoes spread your weight evenly, preventing you from sinking into the deep snow. Your guide will lead you into the quiet, magical forest and with a bit of luck, you’ll catch a glimpse of the mesmerising Aurora Borealis.

After breakfast, head to the activity pick-up point for your transfer to a husky farm. The energetic dogs will be excited to meet you and take you on a ride into the wilderness. Your guide will provide a safety talk and instructions on navigating the dog sled before you embark on a thrilling journey through snow-capped trees and over glistening fells. After the safari, you’ll have the chance to learn more about the huskies and warm up with a hot beverage in a wooden hut by the open fire. We’re delighted to share that this husky farm was one of the first to receive Green Key certification, recognising its excellent environmental standards and sustainable operations. Lunch will be served back at the hotel.
This afternoon, get ready for cross-country skiing! Before the advent of cars, snowmobiles, and even roads, the only way to travel in winter was via skis or sleighs. Learn how to trek like a local in bygone Lapland and experience the freedom that cross-country skiing brings. Your guide will teach you the basic skills and then lead you through beautiful forest scenery.

You will also pay your respects to the rugged ancient Sámi sacrificial island, 'Ukko's rock'.
