Expect plenty of traditional Finnish dishes and please speak to a member of the team if you have any dietary requirements.
The transfer from Rovaniemi to Iso-Syöte is shared and takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Following a hearty breakfast, you will meet your guide at the hotel for a morning of adventure. After a safety briefing, you will travel over the fells and through varied terrain that ranges from snow-covered forests to frozen lakes. The route has been designed to offer you the chance to get to know the region and enjoy the landscape. Your guide will have brought the necessary equipment with them to drill holes in the ice and go ice fishing on the beautiful lake. You will have the chance to warm up with a cup of coffee around a campfire and switch drivers before you head back to the hotel. You will travel with two people per snowmobile (the driver must have a full driving licence and be over the age of 18). The activity lasts around three hours.
The rest of the day is yours to spend as you please. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and spa area, which are perfect to relax in. Equally, you might want to enjoy the panoramic mountain-top views from the hotel’s lounge area, complete with roaring fire.

Today you will transfer to Ranua Resort where your wintry getaway continues. The transfer will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once checked in to your Glass Igloo, you will have lunch and dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.
Hopefully, the conditions will be perfect tonight for a spectacular Northern Lights display. You will head out with your guide for an atmospheric ride across the wintry landscape in a horse-drawn sleigh (6-8 people per sleigh). Sit comfortably and relax to the sound of sleigh bells,
taking in the magical night sky and surrounding nature. During the ride, you will stop by a blazing campfire to enjoy a hot drink in the peaceful wilderness. You will be out for around 2 hours in total.
Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
A trip to Lapland wouldn’t be complete without an encounter with the area’s most majestic creatures, reindeer. You’ll transfer by car to the nearby reindeer enclosure and snuggle up in the cosy traditional sleigh as your reindeer meanders through the wintry forest on a 3km safari.
However, the fun doesn’t stop there! This afternoon, you will be treated to Ranua’s most popular husky excursion. You will be transferred to the husky farm, where the huskies will be eagerly waiting for you. Before you get the chance to explore this time-honoured fashion, you will meet the energetic huskies and receive an introduction and safety briefing on how to navigate and control the sled.
With two adults per team, you will travel through this Narnia-esque landscape of snowy forests and frozen lakes. There is also the chance to swap drivers if you wish. This activity lasts around 2 hours in total (including transfers). Afterwards, you may want to relax in the sauna and recall the day’s memories before dinner.
