The order of activities listed in this agenda is provided for guidance only. Your final and detailed itinerary will be provided either with your final travel documents (which will be emailed to you around a week prior to departure), or upon arrival.
Itinerary
After landing in Tromso, you will be privately transferred to Malangen resort, situated on the snow-cloaked shores of Beautiful Balsfjord. The transfer will take around an hour following which you can spend the evening settling into your accommodation and exploring the resort’s amenities. Relax in ‘The Lobby’ enjoying your favourite tipple whilst taking in the sea views after enjoying a tasty dinner celebrating local produce in the Marmaelen restaurant. After enjoying a buffet breakfast, it’s time to get adventurous with a thrilling dog sledding experience across the Arctic landscape.
The activity will begin with a lesson in how to control your dogs, following which you will head off in pairs (one driver, one passenger) into the snowy wilderness, with the chance to swap halfway giving everyone a chance to take the reins! Conclude your sledding experience with a light snack by an open fire. The activity will last approximately 3 hours
This evening the adventure continues with a snowshoe walk lasting around 4 hours. Let your headtorches guide the way deep into the wilderness where you will have the opportunity to take pictures of the Aurora Borealis, should there be a display tonight. Here your guide will give you a talk about the Northern Lights and their fascinating history and assist with camera settings to help you capture a potential display. Your guide will build a fire for you to sit around and stay warm with a hot drink and snacks.

Experience the ultimate Arctic adventure with a snowmobile ride through the breathtaking landscapes of Malangen!
After breakfast you will be transferred around an around an hour and a half to the start point. Following instructions, you will set off across the snow covered tracks, traversing through forests and enjoying the views of the pristine wilderness.
You’ll drive in pairs, giving everyone the chance to take the reins of their own snowmobile (please note you must be over 18 and have a valid driving licence to operate a snowmobile). You will be out for around 2 hours in total.
After a relaxed morning, your time at Malangen has come to an end as you are transferred to ‘The Paris of the North’; Tromso. The shuttle bus transfer will take around an hour and a half. After settling in at The Edge Hotel, you will enjoy dinner at Fiskekompaniet Restaurant, just a 5-minute walk away
Following this it’s time to embark on your final activity of the holiday with a Northern Lights sailing excursion. The trip will take you out into the surrounding fjords and will last around three hours. A light supper of fish soup is included

Today is is sadly time to head home. You will be transferred from the city centre via shuttle bus (your ticket is open, giving you flexibility to board at any time) taking you to the airport where we wish you a safe and pleasant journey home.
