Hotel Kangerlussuaq is a modern and clean hotel in the small community of Kangerlussuaq. It welcomes over 20,000 passing travellers each year.
As well as offering a range of tasty food and a welcoming atmosphere, the hotel also serves as an excellent base for your adventures in Greenland.
The hotel itself is converted from old army barracks so is a part of the region's history.
- The hotel has three different dining options to choose from including a new café where guests can enjoy a coffee and an excellent view, a more functional cafeteria and an excellent restaurant with a focus on Greenlandic cuisine
- There is a relaxing bar area with views across the tiny airport and it's runway
- Wi-Fi is available throughout but does incur a fee (the internet is one of Greenland's most expensive commodities and can be charged as anything from £20 per day to connect so we would recommend a planned digital detox during your holiday!)
Double/twin room: Rooms here are basic but comfortable and each features an en-suite bathroom as well as a TV and phone. There are 70 rooms in total with suite upgrades available.
