A honeymoon with a difference
The average wedding takes about a year to plan and whilst most of that time is spent blissfully engaged, for some it can be a year of stressing over tiny issues, arguing with in-laws and trawling venues, so as well as enjoying one of the best days of your life, it's important to have an exciting and unforgettable honeymoon to focus on.
Our trips all have the potential to be tailored as a honeymoon and you can either take them as they are, or look at ways to make them that extra bit special – spending a night in a glass igloo perhaps, upgrading to an idyllic log cabin or booking a private activity for two. We have been providing honeymoons for many years and would be happy to recommend what we think will work for you as well as adapting our trips to ensure your perfect first holiday as a married couple. We have a long-lasting relationship with our local suppliers and they are always delighted to recommend some little extras that will really make your honeymoon your own.
As more couples choose instead to do a 'mini-moon' we also have many short trips that may be just what you need to fill the gap after all the excitement is over.About Honeymoons
The beauty of Lapland
A beach holiday is what most people seek as their honeymoon, craving sun, sea and sand, but we know that this might not be for everyone. Especially those who seek a quieter break, a more secluded location and somewhere that little bit different. Lapland ticks all those boxes, so why not head north for your honeymoon instead?
It’s difficult to really describe in words what a winter in Lapland is like – with its incredible beauty, silence and potential, but if you can picture an unending snow-topped landscape stretching far into the distance, frosted trees, frozen lakes and a pitch black star-filled sky, then you might get an idea.
Of course, it is also the landscape that calls out to be embraced and here you can strap on snowshoes, drive a snowmobile or drive a team of huskies across the wilderness creating some lifelong memories for the start of the rest of your lives together. As well as all this, our trips have the exciting potential for Northern Lights viewing so you can also tick off a major bucket list item together, gazing in wonder at a shimmering dancing natural display of light.Read more
We have a range of upgrades based around the Aurora that are perfect for a honeymooning couple – from a night in a sumptuous arctic view room at Luosto, to enjoying an icy cold night together at Torassieppi Winter Village.
A charmingly special experience for a honeymoon is perhaps the Aurora sleigh experience at Nellim. Here you can sit back in an enclosed and heated sleigh with panoramic views as your guide takes you out to a wilderness location and prepares a private meal for two at the fireside.

An adventure to start your life together. Honeymoons don’t have to just be about taking a break after your big day and many couples opt to begin married life on a thrilling Arctic adventure!
