Anna has travelled from the mountains to the seas, gradually making her way back to her home here in beautiful Northumberland, where she has become one of the newest members of The Aurora Zone family, joining the Client Liaison Team in 2017 and moving into our Product and Operations department in 2018.
Her passion for mountains and snow began on two planks in the French Alps, where she learnt to ski from an early age, before leading her to winters spent in the beautiful French town of Val d’Isere. After graduating from university in Manchester, her love for travel took her on a real adventure, sailing around the world, where she was lucky enough to experience working on board a superyacht. However, despite enjoying her time at sea Anna decided to head back to dry land to the place she calls home.
As one of the newest members of the team, Anna has recently been lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit Finland for the first time and experience the wonderful fells of Luosto. Having heard wonderful tales from clients, that had left her wondering just how good a husky safari must be, this trip brought everything to life and it did not fail her expectations! Being surrounded by snow covered trees and catching a glimpse of the beautiful Aurora Borealis was such an incredible experience and she can’t wait to explore more of the Arctic Circle in the future.
As well as being keen to experience the wonders of the Northern Lights again, Anna is also keen to experience the magnificent natural wonders of Iceland and Norway. The famous geysers, black beaches and beautiful waterfalls of Iceland, and the spectacular mountains and Fjords of Norway are some natural features that she thinks would look simply magical with the Aurora Borealis dancing overhead.
