
Now, there is some excellent scientific research and findings by some of the world’s best Solar Physicists as to exactly why autumn is such a good time for Aurora hunting (click here to read more about this). With the main factor being increased geomagnetic activity around the weeks of the autumn equinox. However, as the saying goes: ‘A picture paints a thousand words’, so rather than going into longwinded and potentially confusing detail about the science, we thought we would simply show you the evidence of yet another successful autumn!
