The answer, unequivocally, is yes. It’s a massive YES, YES, YES.
The first weeks of September have sent even the most seasoned of Aurora Hunters into a state of veritable rapture. Across Northern Europe’s Auroral Zone, our guides, photographers and understandably delighted clients have gazed in wonder at some truly sensational displays.
Nothing compares to standing beneath a full-blown Aurora and watching the lights swirl hypnotically across the night sky. However, we can’t all be there at exactly the right time so here are a few images taken in recent weeks:

Menesjärvi - 10th September 2018, taken by Timo Halonen

If you would rather see the real thing, however, it is worth noting that we haven’t even reached the equinox yet. There is no reason to believe that auroral activity will drop in the coming weeks, indeed, it could very well increase.
Basically, if you are looking for an autumn break with a genuine difference, it’s well worth considering a trip north in search of the magical Aurora Borealis.
