1. Aurora Sleigh
Venture out into the cold Arctic night onto the vast expanse of frozen Lake Inari in an Aurora Sleigh for a private viewing of the northern sky.
Pulled by the guide's snowmobile, the sleighs offer panoramic views through their Perspex windows and roof, giving you a chance to enjoy the snow-topped vista – and possibly the Northern Lights in comfort and warmth.
This truly is a unique way to experience the lights in an incredibly beautiful location.

2. Reindeer Safari at night
Reindeer are beautifully gentle creatures that are synonymous with Lapland and are today very much a part of the history, culture, and tradition.
On many of our reindeer experiences, you will get the opportunity to visit a reindeer farm and their Sámi herders, which is a wonderfully genuine and traditional experience. Discover how this indigenous culture live and survive by means of these reindeer and enjoy the opportunity to meet and feed these lovely animals!
Our favourite reindeer experience, however, is a Northern Lights sleigh ride. It is a completely laid-back excursion enabling you to sit back and relax, and fully appreciate your wonderful snow-laden surroundings - and with luck and good Aurora forecasts, you may catch a glimpse of the elusive Aurora Borealis!

3. Snowmobile expedition
For adrenaline junkies, this is one of the best ways to hunt the Northern Lights.
Snowmobiles offer an exciting chance to experience the wilds of Lapland in a truly exhilarating way, but for Aurora hunting, they definitely bring the idea of the ‘chase’ to life!
The great thing about snowmobiling in search of the Northern Lights is that you have a chance to outrun cloud cover in the hope of an Aurora and travelling at night allows you to witness the remarkable shapes and sights of this winter landscape in a whole new light.
